On December 1, 2024, at approximately 12:01 AM, a Palm Beach Gardens Police officer responded to assist with a traffic stop in the 11300 block of Prosperity Farms Road. An officer on patrol witnessed a white Mercedes-Benz performing an unlawful U-turn at an intersection and later crossing over the center dividing line. Upon contact, the officer observed an adult driver who was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was unable to produce a driver's license or insurance. The officer immediately noticed an obvious odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage on the driver's breath, slurred speech, red watery eyes, and a flushed face. The driver claimed to be traveling from a family residence to her home and denied consuming any alcoholic beverages or chemical substances.
