Yet another rematch of a boss from the first Labyrinth of Touhou, this time with a very different take on a certain party member.
Just like the original fight, Fundoshi Man will go through an initial form, then several elemental forms, then a final form. There are quite a few differences in the details which makes this fight quite a bit easier - he has a number of ailment and debuff vulnerabilities depending on form (as opposed to be invulnerable to all of them), only has four elemental forms instead of six, and for the most part he is pretty light on multi-target attacks (no murdering your party with quick Iai Slashes during initial form), not to mention his attacks are almost all resistable with affinities now. However, his elemental forms have resistance to all "neutral" elements, so if you're unlucky and your only attacker with the weakness element is sniped, you could be in for a long time.
The most dangerous part of the fight is the wind form, as it is the only one where he spams multi-target moves, and he is very fast and has basically no opening for disables. Tree form will also use Space Compression on 2nd turn, which cannot be resisted by equipment (some characters, like Nazrin, has innate resistance to VOI) and is actually the most powerful attack he can perform in most circumstances. Outside of those forms he isn't really much of a threat; initial form and cold form has him spamming single-target attacks for the most part; fire form has 0 PAR resistance, and while he will get 4% EX buff every other turn in terminate form, it racks up quite slowly and it's very unlikely to make much of a difference before you finish him off.
(And now back to Infinity Corridor I go... really not looking forward to this)
