Just like all the other bosses (except the gold balls for some reason) associated with it, Murakumo also has insanely high defenses, so trying to get any damage through is a pretty big chore, especially since it has two full heals at 80% then at 60% of its HP, can use a move that drains half of someone's MP and heals 1% of its HP per MP absorbed, and randomly buffs all its stats by 50%. Luckily, it is fully vulnerable to DEF/MND debuffs, fairly vulnerable to HVY and SIL, and also doesn't discourage buffing or debuffing or anything (unlike Tenshi), so with some preparatory work you can get damage thorugh fine. Offense wise, Great Tree that Descended from the Sky is really annoying due to it having DTH-66 (and it feels like it's a LOT higher than that), and can pick off random people when you least expect it (and usually when it's most inconvenient for you), but otherwise its attacks aren't too bad until it goes in 3rd phase at 25% and pulls two statues. You really don't want to let the statues live to get a turn because they will likely demolish anyone they hit, so be prepared to get rid of them ASAP. It'll also use World Shaking Military Rule followed by Start of Heavenly Demise afterwards, so be prepared to tank it. The nice thing is that when it goes in 3rd phase, its ATK, MAG and SPD debuff resistances all drop to pretty low values (its DEF/MND debuff resistances do rise a little, but still very low), so abating the effects of World Shaking Military Rule isn't too hard.
