I like knitting socks from the toe-up. As you then finish with the ribbing, it's really important to get a nice stretchy bind-off. After trying several knitted bind-offs including a knitted picot bind-off, I decided to try binding-off with a crochet instead. I find this easy to do and it results in a very stretchy bind-off. I hope you like it!
The sock pattern is "Here Be Dragons" by Rachel Gent. It can be found here: knitty.com/ISSUEw15/PATTdragons.php
