Teaching Tech | Kickstarter: Why companies use it and why campaigns go wrong (feat Maker’s Muse) @TeachingTech | Uploaded 2 years ago | Updated 2 days ago
Kickstarter is a platform to which many are hostile, whereas others see an exciting opportunity. Some campaigns have been catastrophic, with backers losing their money and never receiving a reward. Understanding the risks can make Kickstarter a safer prospect, although risk will always be evident. In this video I speak to manufacturers to find out why they used Kickstarter, and discuss warning signs for risky campaigns with Angus from Maker’s Muse.

I also contacted Bigtreetech and Creality for input on this video, but unfortunately didn’t hear back.
