Senior Application Engineer Stephen Muller shows the components of Keysight's PCIe 5.0/6.0 receiver test solution at DesignCon 2022. Developed together with PCI-SIG standards architects, this solution features the M8040 bit error ratio tester, the UXR oscilloscope, and the N5991 receiver test software. Not only is the M8040 BERT already used today for PCIe 5.0 compliance tests, it is also the only Gold Suite approved platform to support both NRZ and PAM4! The robust receiver can tolerate signals up to 64 GT/s, while aggressive equalization helps restore the quality of the transmitted signal at PCIe 6.0 speeds.
