USB4 and the UHBR bitrates of DisplayPort 2.0 are based on Thunderbolt 3 technology, which Keysight has supported for the past 5 years. These new interfaces transmit 20 Gbps on all 4 lanes of the type C connecter in parallel. Keysight's USB and DisplayPort expert Jit Lim demos Keysight's low-cost, passive cable test solution using D9040USBC Tx and N5991U40A Rx compliance software, a UXR Series oscilloscope, and a M8040A Series BERT.
