Tanya Brown suffered a mental breakdown after the murder of her sister Nicole Brown Simpson. Now, as an advocate for mental health promotion, she shares her story.

Brown will be a keynote speaker at the Sixth World Conference on the Promotion of Mental Health and Prevention of Mental and Behavioral Disorders, which will be held in Washington D.C., November 17--19, 2010.

This conference, which is cosponsored by EDC, will feature new research and be a forum for such vital issues, as healing from trauma, strategies for preventing disorders, understanding the social and economic connections to mental health, and protecting human rights. It is co-hosted by the Carter Center, Clifford Beers Foundation, and the World Federation for Mental Health.
