"I won't stop doing my job just because I'm a woman," says Mwamini Bora, a young women in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Mwamini has found success in a traditionally male-dominated career field thanks to the USAID-funded Integrated Youth Development Activity (IYDA) implemented by EDC. IYDA enables young people to develop the foundational skills that will strengthen their resilience, engaging youth along three program pathways: accelerated learning, technical vocational education and training, and community literacy.
