This is a song that definitely needs no introduction, as it is equally catchy as it is heavy! Trying to adapt this cover, with the scream vocals while still trying to keep the melody was a difficult challenge, so there is layered singing and melodic guitar underneath the screams if you listen out for them!
I also personally found the middle section of the song slightly boring, sorry! So in order to spice up the song and add a little more to it, I added my own guitar solo in there!
Warning, I don't speak Japanese! I simply looked at the romaji lyrics which show the lyrics phonetically in the English alphabet. I tried my best, and hopefully the scream vocals masked the poor pronuciation, but my apologies for any Japanese speakers out there!
If you're wondering why bother with the screams, it's simply to offer a different take on the song and perhaps get people to appreciate the band, regardless of whether or not they enjoy the original vocals! So if you don't like the vocals, that's fine as there is an instrumental version coming next week, but try and appreciate what we're going for here!
