A metal arrangement of Awaken, the Pillar Men Theme from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Part 2: Battle Tendency.
As a both a Jojo fan and a music fan, it has to go without saying that Jojo's has a very well composed OST! This song is a bit of a joke and a meme, but I still think it's definitely one of the best in the entire series so far! One day it clicked how I could turn this song into prog/djent tune, and ended up coming up with the whole arrangement in about an hour!
I took a few creative liberties, and had a lot of fun with the arrangement, since I had a lot of very Dream Theater inspired riffs that I thought would fit the song. Everything I came up with that isn't in the original are variations of the main melody but played as a rhythm instead of a lead, as well as keeping the breakdown in the original mostly the same!
Hope you enjoy the cover, as it's definitely one of my favourites!
