History of Sound Recording ♪♪♪ Year = 1935
Engineers at AEG, working with the chemical giant IG Farben, created the world's first practical magnetic tape recorder, the 'K1', which was first demonstrated in 1935. During World War II, an engineer at the Reichs-Rundfunk-Gesellschaft discovered the AC biasing technique. With this technique, an inaudible high-frequency signal, typically in the range of 50 to 150 kHz, is added to the audio signal before being applied to the recording head. Biasing radically improved the sound quality of magnetic tape recordings
KAI WARNER
Kai Warner was the stage name of Werner Last, a German bandleader and musician. He is the brother of James Last and Robert Last.
Kai Warner signed a contract as a producer with Polydor in 1966; he discovered and produced Renate Kern. As Kai Warner, he started his own orchestra, which included many musicians who played with James Last (such as his brother Robert Last, who had already played drums on the earliest James Last sessions). In 1975, Kai Warner switched from Polydor to Philips.
Besides his LPs like Pops For Minis, Happy Together, Goldtimer 1 and 2, his name is forever linked with the Go-In series, which continued later on Philips under the name Go-In Party.
Other albums: So In Love, Love Songs, Romantic Songs, Wer recht in Freuden tanzen will, Warner Plays Wagner, Golden Violins, Volkslieder Festival, On The Road To Philadelphia, Swingin' Johann, Salsoul Explosion, A Glass Of Champagne, Dance To The Beatles, Zum Tanz Marsch Marsch, Polka wie noch nie, Oriental Nights, It's Country Time, and naturally the Christmas album Christmas Party.
He also made several recordings with his Kai Warner Singers, a mixed choir made up of six women and six men often accompanied only by a rhythm section.

Written by Werner Last (Kai Warner) for the 1969 album "Melody Fair" (which featured famous harmonica player Tommy Reilly).
MHO
Written and arranged in a style that we also find with his famous brother James Last (Hans Last) - this "First Dance" includes the same elements (strings, wordless male and female voices) but it also features an "extra" instrument, namely the harmonica.
Played by the well known Irishman Tommy Reilly, this extra instrument definitely also adds 'an extra touch' to the song.
If you like beautiful melodies and if you are "a tiny bit" (or for a large part) a romantic person.... be sure not to miss this one :)
