On Saturday, September 15, 2018, MCSO Deputy Jon Allen observed a red motorcycle driving recklessly in the 15700 block of SE 183rd Ave Rd. As Deputy Allen turned around, the motorcycle turned on to SE 157th Place. Deputy Allen located the motorcycle abandoned on the edge of the roadway and discovered that it was reported stolen out of Sumter County. A witness observed the defendant, Eathan Craig Bridwell (DOB: 06/13/1990), dump the stolen motorcycle and run into a trailer. The owner of the property allowed deputies to check two trailers for the defendant. K-9 Deputy Matthew Hooper and his K-9 "Rambo" located Bridwell hiding under a mattress in the second trailer. Bridwell was arrested and charged with one count of Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle. He is currently being held in the Marion County Jail.
