I remember downloading the demo of Just Cause off of Xbox Live when the demo first hit, and liking the game. It was just another "sandbox" game that drew inspiration from GTA to me at the time, but I enjoyed the demo enough for what it was.

Somewhere along the way I acquired this game for the 360, but I've barely played it. In fact, this footage is the first time I finally decided to play it. I guess I have to be in the mood for games of this type. They are quite involving, and take a long time to play through.

That being said, I don't think I've come across any sandbox/open world game from the PS360 era that wasn't a solid game in it's own right. Obviously, some were more inspired than others, but from GTA, to Saints Row, to Just Cause to even games like Crackdown, and even Mercenaries 2 (oh no you didn't), the PS3 and Xbox 360 have a great collection of "Sandbox" games to be played.

Just Cause is another solid game of this type. I still haven't played Just Cause 2 or 3, but I own 4 on the One, and the series has done well for itself to the point that it needs no introduction, and has it's hardcore fans out there.
