Continuing our study of the many concerti transcriptions Bach made around 1713, this is a transcription of another piece by Johann Ernst, Prince of Saxe-Weimar. The original music is lost, however Bach was fond enough of the piece to make another transcription (of the opening movement) for organ, BWV 595.
