[Europop/Euro House/Pop/Pop Rock/Electronic] Known to the public in the 1990's as Hobie Buchannon from his appearance in the David Hasselhoff / Pamela Anderson TV Series: "Baywatch", here is Jeremy Dunn Jackson with his 1994 debut album titled: "Number One" ! Cheesy but surprisingly a decent album! This album is mainly known for the song: "You Can Run" (Track 3) as it was featured in the Baywatch episode titled: "Livin' on the Fault Line" (S 5 E 1); David Hasselhoff also helped co-write "You Can Run". As an added bonus I also included the song: "L.A. Groove" (Track 12) which can only be found on Jeremy's "You Can Run" single. Jeremy Dunn Jackson (born October 16, 1980) is an American actor and singer. He is best known for his role as Hobie Buchannon on the television show Baywatch. Hobie Buchannon (Jeremy Jackson) is the son of Mitch Buchannon (David Hasselhoff) and has played him from season 2 through season 10 on the Baywatch series (1991–1999). According to David Hasselhoff, the role of Hobie was almost given to Leonardo DiCaprio after Brandon Call left the series. Hobie was also named after famous surf and sailing entrepreneur and pioneer Hobart "Hobie" Alter who was also the founder of the famous Hobie company. Jeremy was introduced to music by David Hasselhoff, who starred on Baywatch, on which Jackson appeared. Jackson later supported Hasselhoff on his 1993 European tour and was later signed by Peter Lopez. This album was produced/made in Germany and was released under UltraPop records. The album has some pretty decent songs on it like: "I Need You" (Track 4) and: "One More Smile" (Track 2) while others like "Gettin' Even With Dad" (Track 6) and "I'm Always Here (Baywatch Theme)" (Track 10) pay tiny homage to the Baywatch series; I also find it very reminiscent of Joey Lawrence's 1993 self titled album where it was only marketed towards the teen generation who watched the TV series in which they appeared in at the time. Today, Jeremy is a motivational speaker & fitness guru whom has overcome his addictions and obstacles that plagued him post "Baywatch". Overall, even though this album is corny, cheesy, and a little bad at times, it is still a solid effort at marketing a teen idol into the music business. This album was released under Ultrapop Records '94.
