Organizing Jelly Bean home screen apps on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3113 WI-FI. To start moving an Android app shortcut, long press (tap and hold) the icon you wish to move. The screen will transition and the app shortcut will be moveable as long as you hold it.
To move it to another home screen page, drag the app icon to the left edge of the screen and drop it on create page. This makes a new page and places the app on it.
To add apps to an existing page, swipe to the page you wish to edit. Select the apps menu, then long press the app you want. The page transitions and you can drop the shortcut anywhere on the selected page.
To delete app shortcuts long press the app you want and drag it to the garbage can icon.
To switch out apps in the side/bottom app bar. tap and hold the app to be moved, then drag it into the side/bottom app bar. the app to be replaced will move onto the home screen. (Entire folders can be placed in the side/bottom app bar!)
To create folders, tap and hold the app to be moved into a folder, then drag it to the left and drop it on create folder. after the folder is created, you can place apps in the folder by dragging and dropping them on the folder icon.
Deleting app shortcuts and folders will not remove the installed app.
