Using Bluetooth on the Samsung Tab 2 7.0 can be a little cumbersome at first. I find it easier to Pair Bluetooth devices when the visible time out is set to never timeout. It is also useful to rename your Bluetooth device, making it easier for your friends to connect, when more than one Bluetooth connection is available.
Setting the Bluetooth visibility time out to "never", will use more of your battery! I would not keep the visibility on if I were constantly using the device for audio purposes, or while located near many other possible Bluetooth users. I mostly use it to send and receive files.
