I picked up the Jorgensen Universal Wood Turning Lathe at a local buyout store. I was surprised that it works as well as it did. The lathe is capable of turning three and a half inch stock while using the saddle and tool rest. The faceplate is five inches, clearance to the bed is three inches. The live center is not removable from the tail stock, or at least is not meant to be.
