This is the best way to fix a seized, marine steering cable, works every time! Any other
way could lead to failure. We drilled a few holes in the cable to allow the penetrating
fluid to flow in. The holes are under the fluid level in the funnel. The funnel has a wad of electrical tape holding it onto the cable. I'm a tape waster! get over it.....After a few hours of punishment, my stubbornness caved, and the answer became obvious. Fixing a seized or otherwise wore out marine steering cable is easy! Just order the part, and wait for the mail!
