In this video, we'll explore the various JR freight trains passing through the Saitama Prefecture region of Japan, on the north side of the Tokyo metropolis area. I spent majority of my day in and around the Omiya Station, located about 15 miles north of Tokyo. Located on the Tōhoku Main Line, freight trains are a frequent occurrence along this section of line. In addition to the freight trains, you'll also see various passenger services which call at the Omiya station.

Also included at the end is a bonus "cabride" video from the front of a Keihin–Tōhoku Line train, with E233-1000 series equipment.
