It's Tough to be A Bug was an opening day attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom in 1998. The 3D film featured animatronics of Flik and Hopper along with a talented cast of bugs that taught guests what it's like to be a bug. The show was inspired by the Disney and Pixar movie A Bug's Life. It's Tough to be A Bug will be closing permanently on March 17th to make way for a brand new Zootopia show called Zootopia Better Zoogether. The new show is set to open in Winter 2025. The refurbishment includes replacing all of the coaster track, brand new trains, and whats believed to be the addition of enhanced effects coming to the 3rd lift hill. Both versions of Splash Mountain in the United States are now closed with Tokyo Disneyland having the remaining Splash Mountain in operation.
