Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom closed on January 6th, 2025 for an extended refurbishment. The refurbishment includes replacing all of the coaster track, brand new trains, and what's believed to be the addition of enhanced effects coming to the 3rd lift hill. May 30th, 2023 marked the last day Splash Mountain at Disneyland was open. Both versions of Splash Mountain in the United States are now closed with Tokyo Disneyland having the remaining Splash Mountain in operation.
