Take a final ride on Splash Mountain at Disneyland! Splash Mountain originally opened at Disneyland in July of 1989 then at Disney World in October of 1992. This Disney log flume ride is known for its iconic 52-foot plunge down the BIG DROP and is one of the fastest rides at the Disneyland Resort in California going 40 miles per hour! May 30th, 2023 marked the last day Splash Mountain at Disneyland was open. Both versions of Splash Mountain in the United States are now closed with Tokyo Disneyland having the remaining Splash Mountain in operation. Test Tracks last operating day at EPCOT is June 16th, 2024 before it closes to begin its reimagining. Test Track opened in 1999 but this was the 2nd version of the attraction which has been running since December 2012. The entire attraction will be rethemed and its expected to reopen in 2025.
