The American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey is home to Nickelodeon Universe; The largest indoor theme park in North America. Covering 8.5 acres, Nickelodeon Universe opened in October of 2019 bringing all your favorite Nickelodeon characters right to life. There are 25 rides & attractions from slow-moving flat rides to high-speed roller coasters, some of which are record-breakers like TMTN Shellraiser and The Shredder. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom closed on January 6th, 2025 for an extended refurbishment. The refurbishment includes replacing all of the coaster track, brand new trains, and whats believed to be the addition of enhanced effects coming to the 3rd lift hill. This Disney log flume ride is known for its iconic 52-foot plunge down the BIG DROP and is one of the fastest rides at the Disneyland Resort in California going 40 miles per hour! May 30th, 2023 marked the last day Splash Mountain at Disneyland was open. Both versions of Splash Mountain in the United States are now closed with Tokyo Disneyland having the remaining Splash Mountain in operation.
