If you've ever felt overwhelmed by how different spoken French can be from its written form, you're not alone. 🤗

Take "Il y a" for example in conversation, it often becomes just "y'a" (as in "Y'a deux hommes là-bas").

Moreover, the common negative "ne" in written French usually disappears when spoken. So, "il n'y a pas" is typically heard as "y'a pas". 😅
