Here’s a French pronunciation tip that might just save you from awkward mix-ups.

It's all in the "L’s”! When you say "ville" (meaning city), make sure to pronounce those "L’s". If not, you might end up saying "vie" (as in life). 😄

However, as always there are exceptions. For example, the word "Fille" (daughter) doesn’t follow this rule and is pronounced as “fie” (L’s aren’t pronounced here).
