While we might say “change MY mind” or “change MY job” in English, the French drop the “MY” and use “DE”. 🇫🇷

For instance:

"Change my mind" ➡️ “Je change d’avis”

"I changed my job" ➡️ “J’ai changé de métier”

"I’ve changed outfits" ➡️ ”J’ai changé de tenue”
