I get requests all the time to do more OMAD videos, I have made a few videos when I first started 9 years that go into detail about OMAD so now I just try to do update videos. I like to do the update videos in July which is always the anniversary of when I started Intermittent Fasting in 2017.
So just a little back ground in 2017 I was diagnosed with beginning stages of Hashimoto's disease which is a serious autoimmune disease. I didnt want to be on medication for the rest of my life and I actually wanted to cure the disease not treat the symptoms so I went online and did research.
I found out about intermittent fasting and eating one meal a day (OMAD) so I decided to try it. Like everything else in my life if I do something I always give it 110% so I dove right in. I started with Intermittent fasting 16:8 and lowered my eating window by 1 hour every week and by the 4-5th week I started eating One Meal A Day (OMAD) that day I decided I would do it for the rest of my life.
It was so crazy at my progress, not only did I shed off my fat quickly I felt so much better, my head was more clear, I was more productive. Most importantly to the surprise of my doctor I cured myself.
At my peak I was 189 pounds but when I started recording my weight and taking pictures of my progress I was 176 lbs with a 34" waist, at my lowest I got down to 145 lbs with a 28" waist. I don't weigh myself often but Im usually around 148-152 consistently for the past 9 years. I still wear my 28" board shorts. I just turned 50 this year and my waist is smaller than what it was when I was in high school.
OMAD changed my life and I want to share it with as many people as possible. If you are thinking about doing OMAD I highly recommend it. If you haven't seen any of my older videos I will have some links below that I made when I first started OMAD and I went into more details of what I eat, how I work out, myths etc.
If you have tried Intermittent fasting or OMAD please share your story in the comments it really helps motivates people who are on the fence. THANK YOU!
