2 precision levels.
It Doesn't Speak to Me #Race (0:00)
The first precision race level, and the only time I participated, I even got first place, probably by luck. Fun level though, and the word precision at the end was a nice surprise. This level reminded me a little bit about my Precision Wars 2 level.

This one was pretty short but it had a few hard jumps. And this one reminded me of my Precision Wars 1 level.

A 3D World speedrun level.
It was hard to figure out blind, specially some parts in the subworld like at 0:58, I dont even think I did that right, but at least it worked. I had 2 deaths at the end because I didnt understand it. I wonder what the description of the level says. We need a bookmark site, with it Id be able to just copy the level description to a translator, it would be so convenient.
As for the update this game got a few days ago, nothing of interest was added in my opinion, I guess its nice that I can see how many first clears and world records I have, but I doubt Ill check very often. I just want to be able to use editor for downloaded levels, Ive probably said it a million times by now, but as long as that doesnt happen I will continue to like SMM1 more.

2 levels.
Try it I dare you 3.0 (0:00)
I had a lot of deaths at the door transitions, I kept forgetting if I had to hold right or not. Other than that I didnt have too much trouble. The hardest part is the bomb trick, you have to hit it very close to the lava and its hard to time or get a visual cue because of the screen scrolling.
In the night: A BOOTiful kaizo!! (2:54)
The Bowser fire was pretty annoying. And the kaizo block death that I show before the clear happened quite a few times too. Thankfully I beat the level the first time I made it through that part. Pretty cool level if you take out the RNG and lower the kaizo blocks.

![1Fr4mes Perfect Pipes #Team1F [MARIO MAKER 1]
This is a recreation of 1Fr4mes TeamPipe level. I asked him for permission to upload this on my alt account and to turn it into a Team1F level, and here it is. But it seems that its still also a TeamPipe level, and one of the ones with most points as well. The original version of this level was deleted by Nintendo shortly after the November 2017 patch, even though 1 frame door jumps off of spikes were still possible in levels created before the patch... So recreating this was a bit hard, because all I had to work with was Sponges clear video of the original, and I wanted to keep the aesthetics as similar as possible, with some minor changes and buffs... Heres Sponges clear video of the original: https://youtu.be/cNlsnStDtK0
Sadly I had to change some setups, because of the patch I mentioned earlier, and well, its hard to see how far some jumps are from each other, so I just tried to put them wherever they fit. To this day I still dont understand how the original conveyor wall jump setup worked, so I used a more consistent one. Also the star run before that is actually there just so I could have something to do instead of waiting for the donuts. Its not hard at all.
One major change I made was at the end, I thought the low momentum wall jumps werent possible in new levels unless you throw an item, shoot a fireball or spin with the cape, (apparently they are still possible without that though), so I went with a p-switch wall jump, which takes me a while to get (as you can see the timer go from 460 to 422 in one part) and added a midair P jump at the end, which I failed once, well, I didnt fail the P jump itself, but I walked into the spikes right before it... Thankfully I cleared like 3 attempts right after fail. Also I think I died pretty much everywhere except for the skull coaster jumps, the star run and the final door jump.

Team 0%. No dev exit. Pretty jank, specially the first section and the yoshi jump right after. Rest of the level is kinda free but I still managed to fail it a few times, including the pow throw at 1:16, and one time I jumped without the pow... And one time at 0:53 the launcher didnt shoot a p-switch, which definitely wasnt my fault. No nais at least. :p

![Can you beat that level?! 4 by MarioKid64 [MARIO MAKER 1]
Dont watch this. Normally I would star a level like this, but I didnt want to do it this time. The level is full of kaizo blocks, which is why I didnt jump / swim in the vine sections. The title of the level is also a bit annoying. And this person would show up to a bunch of viewer levels streams, he would submit this level and then he would leave. So this level already has a lot of stars, way more than it would get under normal circumstances. I still enjoyed the level a bit, it was tedious, yes, and it had fake paths, but water precision is relaxing for me. Also I beat this like 5 or 6 months ago, but didnt upload the video until now... dont know why.

![Road to 7777 (Levels 7611 to 7660) | 08/24/2026 [MARIO MAKER 2]
Gameplay starts at 0:09:30.
Streaming simultaneously on Twitch and YouTube. I mainly play Endless Super Expert, currently using skips to reach 7777 levels. I prefer playing without skips but I started this journey and I will finish it. I will go back to playing Super Expert No Skip after reaching 7777 levels in this current Super Expert run.
If you want to join the twitch streams and be able to use channel points to redeem stuff such as making me like a level I normally wouldnt, making me change character for 3 lives, making me save a yoshi or making me go back for world record on a level, go here: https://www.twitch.tv/the_z7
Sometimes you may hear some talking in the background, thats my wife gaby_mg, she usually plays online with friends around the same time that I stream. Sometimes our dogs will bark a lot too, please bear with it when it happens.
I currently havent enabled any kind of monetization on youtube so if you wish to support me monetarily, which is completely optional, consider doing it through twitch or, I suppose theres also this option: https://streamlabs.com/the_z7/tip Road to 7777 (Levels 7611 to 7660) | 08/24/2026 [MARIO MAKER 2]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ktDzHGcC2X0/mqdefault.jpg)
![Poké-Precision (#206-#221) by Gold and Silver [MARIO MAKER 1]
The longest Ive spent recording a video for this level series by far.
But... I think it was worth it. :p
Qwilfish... Qwilfish... Qwilfish... So yeah, Qwilfish is the reason why I spent so long recording this, but not because it was hard, far from that, but its because theres a lot of RNG involved if you want to go fast, and my luck is terrible. So what part of the level is RNG? The spiny movement underwater, whether they go up or down is random, and there are 3 of them in the way. The chance of getting the perfect pattern was probably 1/27 (I have no idea), but the chance of getting that perfect pattern while on a fast paced attempt was even smaller. This level alone took many hours, more than Ive spent optimizing every single other poké-precision level. On one of my attempts I was on the perfect run but the spiny at the end was on the worst possible position, and I lost like 5 seconds, so I restarted, obviously. Also I dont really like the green background, I guess it makes sense because its a poison type though.
There was one other level that gave me a lot of trouble, Magcargo, but only because the final jump is so tight if you want to get a fast time, I mean, look at it. I failed that jump a lot. So this one also took a while, but still not as long as Qwilfish. The rest of the levels were also hard to do fast, as always, but I dont have much to say about the difficulty speedrunning them, because they felt easy compared to those other two.
If you take your time, Id say Steelix, Scizor and Piloswine are the hardest of this batch. Steelix and Scizor are similar to the Onix and Scyther levels from gen 1, theyre the evolutions of those two pokémon, so thats why theyre hard. Piloswine is hard because of the ice, if you get used to it though, its probably not a problem. Shuckle can be pretty hard too if youre bad at edge jumps and bumper precision, but... I one shot it, so the level had a 100% clear rate until other people played it, and then I lowered it a lot trying to go fast. But it became one of my favorite levels of the series, its the only one where Ive seen people die to the timer, so thats good.
Weve uploaded levels all the way up to #245, so there are 6 levels left in gen 2, most of which have not been made. But the series will be done pretty soon. We were planning to wait a bit, but the announcement of SMM2 basically gave us a deadline for it.

6 precision levels, but only 2 of them are for Precision Crew. A while back I said its generally better not to look at peoples older levels, but I knew ShyGuy was going to delete his old levels to make space for new precision crew levels, so I got curious and checked his profile. I found a lot of 0% levels there and decided to ask for pictures of them so I wouldnt have to play them blind. Turns out theyre not bad, I mean, they can be unfair at times, but playing them was fun.
P U R E I N S A N I T Y [*.*] (0:00)
The rising lava made the first section stressful. Second section is mostly free. On the third section I kept being too slow, but eventually I got through it and had no deaths on the fourth section.
3D World Precision Playground (1:23)
This one took much longer to recreate than it did to clear, I was a bit nervous at the end though, not gonna lie. Anyway, cool level, but it would be very confusing to play blind.
Revenge of the P-Switch Jumps (2:58)
I spent a long time in editor trying to understand what to do after the first clear pipe, it made no sense to me, but eventually I figured out a strat for it; it seems obvious when you watch it, but it didnt seem possible when I was playing. The subworld was also confusing because theres kaizo blocks everywhere though, but I knew I would be fine if I just avoided them.
*L u c i d N i g h t m a r e s* (3:58)
Dark level bad. Okay no. The unfair parts of this level actually remind me of some of my SMM1 levels. Specially those door transitions and the ending. Luckily I only died to the door transitions twice, and never died after them. The first screen is the classic ShyGuy timing precision style Im now used to, so not much to say there. The subworld is unique for him though, I did not expect to see a line up, and its so close to the end too. Im glad I didnt play this one blind.
Lucky 7s (5:44)
Heres a recent one, a level for Precision Crew. This is the only level in this video I didnt remake in editor to practice, because its so short, but it still took a little while to beat. Also I like how each 7 becomes harder like in slot machines. Not much else to say about it though.
~ Cataclysmic Distraught ~ (6:15)
Hardest level of the video. Theres some really tight jumps and some really tight timings. The level took a few hours to beat and I had 3 deaths at the last jump. I actually got stuck on the jump next to 2 boos on tracks and the jump right after for a long time, until I accidentally figured out better strats for them during practice. I do a similar strat for the next jump, stand on the very edge, and spin jump so Mario wont wall slide. It was about time for me to have some good luck in one of these, but it was a still a long grind. The wall jump over the boo in the second half of the level is harder than it looks. The next jump too, I often pressed left just slightly too early, which resulted in me hitting the spike and sometimes the muncher would kill me even after I jumped over it. But really I could say that about most of this level, almost every trick is tighter than it looks, the only easy jump is the first one.

Well, thats a first. I dont think anyone else has failed there... You can just spam the button, but I am dumb, and decided to press it as late as possible... You can even hear the cape twirl right before the flower touches Mario, but I did it way too late and the actual twirl never happened. After that death, I decided to cheese the survival section at 1:10, felt bad to cheese it, but honestly, that dumb mistake felt even worse, it added a few extra hours to the total time grinding this, cause Im really bad at flying. Dont expect me to beat Second Impact or Final Flight, because that will never happen.

It is almost over. The next video of this series will be the last one. The journey to get here has been some of the most fun Ive had with this game.
So something funny happened with part of this level batch. Someone who was on break from streaming decided to do a surprise stream, and played this level series, which he doesnt do very often. His timing could not have been more perfect though. We had just uploaded the levels from #230 to #241. But when he played #231 Phanpy, he found cheese, and it wasnt just skipping one jump, you could literally skip the whole level with it. In the thumbnail poké ball design, Katz had put a big enemy and p-switches, and if you spawned them in just the right way, the big enemy would press the p-switches, and the bricks around would turn into coins, so you could run to the goal. Thankfully, at the time, the levels basically had no plays, because like I said, they were just uploaded, fresh. So we decided to reupload that part of the batch. It was mostly easy levels, so it didnt take long to clear them again. But wow, Im really glad that person decided to stream then and played these, because the cheese was not hard at all to execute, and it would have sucked if random people found it.
Anyway, I know people find water levels pretty boring, and this video has 5 of them. But Id say Kingdra is definitely worth watching. Well, pretty much everything in this video is. Theres a lot of cool speed strats. Skarmory, Houndoom, Kingdra, Donphan, Porygon2 and Hitmontop are some of my favorites in this video, they felt so good to do fast. And there was no RNG involved in this case... is what I would like to say, but Delibird has some RNG as well. But its not nearly as much as Qwilfish, the chance of getting the mystery mushroom is 1/2 and its at the very beginning. Not bad at all.
