Isoenzymes (Isozymes) are multiple forms of enzyme having different amino acid sequences or different genes but catalyze same biochemical reaction. Because of slight variation in the gene sequence and amino acid sequence, these enzymes have different kinetic parameters such as different Km or Vmax values.
