In this video, I attempt to repair my Waterpik WP-72 countertop water flosser after the hose split where it enters the handle. At first, the repair looked promising, but I soon discovered the real problem—the original hose had become brittle with age.
I show how to safely open the Waterpik handle, remove the damaged hose, and reassemble it. Unfortunately, once water pressure was applied, the hose continued to crumble and leak. If your Waterpik is 15–20 years old or more, this is something you'll want to watch before spending time trying the same repair.
