Meet Pola Goldberg-Oppenheimer, a professor at the University of Birmingham. Her team has built a handheld device that can rapidly detect signs of brain injury without the need for specialists or expensive tests 🧠

So instead of going to A&E “just in case”, we’ll be able to find out who needs treatment on the spot - saving lives and cutting wait times.
