Parts of Europe have experienced very warm weather after temperatures surged by nearly 15°C compared to just a week ago.
Experts say sharp rises in temperature are increasingly linked to climate change.
Deputy Director of the Copernicus Climate Change Service, Samantha Burgess tell TRT World's Roundtable that Europe should “expect more heatwaves and more water insecurity” and must adapt accordingly, adding that 70% of rivers across Europe recorded below-average flows for 11 months of last year.
