First time I've captured more than one station in a while. Three different messages are seen in this video:
- Trilithic EASyPLUS [recorded using a GV-USB2]
Captured through VHS, nothing different than the previous recording.
- KPTH-DT1 (FOX) [recorded using a WinTV HVR-850 and XP Media Center 2005]
First time using my Gateway machine for ATSC capture. It's a buggy mess (I kept encountering 'Video error' on most of the channels I could receive) however I guess it works for the most part. For this comp., I am temporarily using my HVR-850 USB tuner until I can get my hands on a HVR-1290 card. (mission accomplished as of late-2021)
Funnily enough, this was also the first recording in my collection featuring KPTH's new ticker animation, presumably based on their 'School Closings' ticker.
- KTIV-DT1 (NBC) [recorded using Locast and OBS Screen Capture]
I don't have a functional DIRECTV box anymore (that my capture device nor any HDMI device can recognize) so I had to record directly from Locast. Not proud of how it came out, but what else could I do? I had also planned to record KTIV's Ion affiliate, but for whatever reason they never activated whatsoever, not even after a delay.
All three were recorded on June 2, 2021 at about 3am Central Time.
