Time series AI models help us forecast sales, predict markets, detect fraud, and monitor critical networks. Recognizing the need for deeper insights, IBM researcher Jayant Kalagnanam introduces TSPulse, our ultra-compact, foundation model designed to help us understand complex patterns in time-series data: ibm.co/6042BDd7A

What makes TSPulse so special? It's 10–100x smaller than competing models, but it demonstrates significant improvements on several benchmarks, setting a new standard for efficient time-series modeling:

+5–16% on UEA classification
+20% on TSB-AD anomaly detection (ranked No.1)
+50% in zero-shot imputation
+25% in semantic similarity
