This piece is all about the fabrication of wafers like this at IBM Research. We start on the grounds outside the Yorktown facility. Soon we’re immersed in the sounds of a cleanroom where silicon wafers are being fabricated. Then we go into the machines - deep into their various fabrication processes. The harmonics of the machines are taken over by the harmonics of a cello and then the track resolves into silence.
