I'm making a Horror Movie!!! Well, actually I'm making a horror movie with an extraordinary team of talented filmmakers, based on a script I wrote with Erik Champney. Inspired by retro slashers and giallo films, "Macabre" is a crowdfunded horror short that will be pitched as a proof of concept for a full-length feature. We need your help to get this made though!!! And if everything works out right, we could be enjoying "Macabre" as brand new, theatrically released horror movie in the not-so-distant future.
Horror filmmakers like Wes Craven, Dario Argento, and Alfred Hitchcock are the primary influences for our vision of "Macabre". We were inspired by movies like Psycho (1960), Suspiria (1977), Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), Tenebrae (1982), StageFright (1987), Opera (1987), Candyman (1992), Mute Witness (1995), Scream 2 (1997), and Urban Legend (1998).
