The STAB movies have been a staple of the Scream franchise ever since Scream 2, but it's time the writers retire this stale device that is doing nothing but allowing them to recycle the same ideas over and over and sell it to us as something new.
In this video, I will go over the history of the Stab franchise within the Scream universe, call attention to all of the continuity errors that have presented themselves through the inconsistent writing across the Scream sequels, explain why Stab is actually not the genre-redefining horror film that characters like Mindy Meeks claims it to be, and also why Scream is inherently a better movie than Stab, pin point the exact moment in the Scream franchise where they messed up with Stab, shine light on the problems the Scream franchise will face if it continues to rely on Stab to act as the backdrop to all new stories, and present a simple solution for how the Scream franchise can amend all of these mistakes.
DISCLAIMER: Despite the complaints I have, Scream is still my favorite horror franchise, and I love all of the sequels regardless, because they're still high quality movies thanks in large part to Wes Craven, Kevin Williamson, and others... but please, ENOUGH with the Stab movies already!!!
