🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 128 miles east along Interstate 22 from Tupelo, Mississippi, to Birmingham, Alabama. 🛣️
The drive begins in Tupelo as Interstate 22 merges from the Natchez Trace Parkway interchange. Almost immediately, the route crosses U.S. Highway 45 at a full cloverleaf, providing connections north toward Corinth and south toward Columbus. Leaving Tupelo behind, I-22 travels eastward across the rolling hills of northeastern Mississippi, serving the towns of Fulton and Tremont before reaching the Alabama state line. This section highlights the relatively new construction of I-22, a modern corridor built to provide a high-speed link between Memphis and Birmingham along the historic U.S. 78 alignment.
Crossing into Alabama, the highway takes on a more southeasterly direction just before Hamilton, offering access to U.S. Highway 278 and Alabama Highway 13. From here, the route threads through the Appalachian foothills, passing wooded ridges and valleys on the approach to Jasper, one of the larger communities along the corridor. South of Jasper, I-22 shifts more directly toward Birmingham, skirting Cordova before intersecting U.S. Highway 78 near Graysville. The final leg carries traffic past several local interchanges before reaching its eastern terminus at Interstate 65 north of downtown Birmingham. The video concludes at this major interchange, where I-22 officially ends and traffic can continue south toward the heart of Birmingham or north toward Cullman and Huntsville.

![U.S. Route 63: Mammoth Spring to Hardy - Arkansas | Real Roads, Real Drives [Repost]
🚙 Drive Americas Highways for 16 miles south along U.S. Highway 63 from Mammoth Spring to Hardy, Arkansas 🛣️
The segment of U.S. Route 63 between Mammoth Spring and Hardy offers a short but picturesque drive through the Ozark Foothills of north-central Arkansas. Beginning at the junction with Arkansas Highway 9 in Mammoth Spring, the route immediately places travelers near the famous Mammoth Spring State Park. This natural landmark, with its impressive flow of nearly nine million gallons per hour, forms the Spring River and has long been a focal point for the community. The drive begins just south of this scenic area, heading southwest out of town along a well-traveled corridor that connects local traffic with regional through routes.
Leaving Mammoth Spring, U.S. 63 winds gently through rolling wooded terrain that typifies the Ozarks. The highway follows alongside the Spring River in places, providing glimpses of its clear waters, which are popular with canoeists, anglers, and vacationers. The road is a blend of forested curves and open stretches, with occasional roadside businesses catering to both locals and tourists. This segment also serves as an important connector between two notable towns, with Hardy just a few miles to the south.
Arriving in Hardy, the highway meets U.S. Route 412, forming the main junction at the edge of town. Hardy is well known for its historic downtown district, with restored 19th- and early 20th-century storefronts that now house antique shops, art galleries, and small eateries. The area has become a destination for those interested in Ozark heritage and outdoor recreation, as the nearby Spring River continues to draw visitors. Though only a short stretch of highway, the drive on U.S. 63 between Mammoth Spring and Hardy combines natural beauty, cultural heritage, and the sense of entering the gateway to the Arkansas Ozarks.

![Interstate 69: Interstate 64 to Evansville - Indiana | Real Roads, Real Drives [Repost/Revisited]
🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 21 miles south along Interstate 69 from Interstate 64 to Evansville, Indiana — a fast route into the city’s east side and riverfront gateway.
This drive along Interstate 69 begins at its junction with Interstate 64 just northwest of Elberfeld, Indiana. Heading south through rural Warrick and Vanderburgh Counties, the highway offers a smooth, modern alignment that bypasses smaller towns to provide a direct link into Evansville. Along the way, the route connects with Indiana State Road 57, offering access to regional communities and local industry.
As I-69 continues south, the landscape shifts from farmland into suburban development, marking the entrance into Evansville’s eastern corridor. The highway serves as a major bypass around the city, linking important east–west routes such as Indiana 66. Near Newburgh, the interstate curves westward at the junction with Indiana 662, carrying traffic toward the southern suburbs. The drive concludes at the current southern terminus of this section of I-69, where it meets U.S. Highway 41 on Evansville’s south side. This interchange provides direct access to the city, its riverfront, and further connections toward Henderson, Kentucky.
I-69 plays a key role in Indiana’s highway system as part of a broader corridor planned to eventually extend from Michigan to Texas. This Evansville segment is not only vital for local travel but also for future long-haul connections through the Midwest and beyond.

![[Repost/Remastered] U.S. Route 70: Brownsville to Lakeland - Tennessee | Drive Americas Highways 🚙
🚙 Drive Americas Highways for 36 miles west along U.S. Highway 70 from Brownsville to Lakeland, Tennessee 🛣️
This video follows U.S. Route 70 westbound from the junction with TN-19, TN-1, and U.S. 79 in southwest Brownsville to the intersection with Canada Road in Lakeland. From the start in Brownsville, U.S. 70 and U.S. 79 run together as a 2-lane highway heading west-southwest through Haywood County. The route quickly leaves the city behind, passing fields, scattered farmsteads, and patches of woodland along a gently rolling alignment.
This corridor traces the path of Tennessee’s first state highway, a key link that pre-dates the interstate system. Before I-40 was built, this was the primary road between Brownsville and Memphis, carrying everything from local farm traffic to cross-state travelers. Communities like Stanton, Mason, and Gallaway grew up along its shoulders, and while modern bypasses have reduced through-traffic, the road retains much of its original two-lane character.
Continuing into Shelby County, the highway reaches Arlington, where it crosses I-269/TN-385 at a modern interchange before pressing west into the Memphis metro. The drive ends in Lakeland at Canada Road, a local connector to I-40 and nearby destinations. Today, this segment of U.S. 70 offers a slower-paced, historically significant alternative to the interstate—perfect for travelers interested in a glimpse of Tennessee’s early highway era.

![Interstate 69: Calvert City to Fulton ~ Kentucky | Real Roads, Real Drives [Repost/Revisited]
🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 51 miles south along Interstate 69 from Calvert City to Fulton, Kentucky — a route through the scenic western edge of the Bluegrass State.
This segment of Interstate 69 begins at Calvert City, where the highway meets Interstate 24 at a newly reconfigured interchange. From here, the route quickly sets its course southward, skirting through Daffenville before reaching Benton, a small but bustling county seat in Marshall County. The interstate gradually veers southwest as it approaches Mayfield, where it serves as a modern bypass around the city, keeping long-distance travelers moving while providing connections into the local community.
West of Mayfield, the route transitions onto the Julian M. Carroll Purchase Parkway, a corridor now signed as Interstate 69 and destined to be part of the full I-69 system stretching from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico. The drive carries motorists through the rolling farmlands and quiet rural towns of western Kentucky, including Wingo and Water Valley, showcasing a mix of open countryside and small-town character.
As the highway approaches Fulton, a border community with strong rail and highway ties, the roadway bends westward to skirt around the town. The journey concludes at the junction with U.S. Highway 51, just steps from the Tennessee state line, where the corridor continues its southward journey toward Union City and beyond. This drive highlights not only the evolving interstate network but also the unique blend of rural Kentucky landscapes that define this region.

![Texas Highway 183: Ft. Worth to Euless - Texas | Real Roads, Real Drives [Repost]
🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 9 miles east along Texas Highway 183 from Fort Worth to Euless (DFW Airport), passing through Hurst, Bedford, and one of the busiest travel corridors in the Metroplex.
This drive begins at the interchange with Interstate 820 on the northeast side of Fort Worth, where Texas Highway 183 serves as an important connector for both local traffic and regional travelers. Heading east, the highway quickly moves into the Mid-Cities area, where the communities of Hurst and Bedford line the corridor with a mix of suburban neighborhoods, business centers, and retail hubs. Along this stretch, travelers cross the major interchange with State Highway 121, a key link toward Grapevine, Lewisville, and the northern suburbs.
Continuing into Euless, the roadway enters a heavily traveled area that provides direct access to Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport. Here, the highway intersects Texas 360, another major north–south route through the Metroplex. The drive concludes at the ramp to Spur 97, the dedicated connector into DFW Airport itself. While not the longest highway stretch, TX-183 is an essential artery for the region, balancing local commutes with international travel access.
Note: Sections of this video include complete traffic stops. To keep the pacing smooth, those portions have been sped up.
