🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 2 miles north along Ohio Route 844 from Beavercreek to Fairborn, Ohio — along a short freeway linking I-675 with Wright State and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Travel north along Ohio Route 844 for approximately 2 miles from Interstate 675 in Beavercreek to Ohio Route 444 in Fairborn. Although one of the shorter numbered highways in the Dayton area, OH-844 serves an important role as a direct freeway connection between I-675, the Wright State University area, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The route begins at the I-675 interchange near North Fairfield Road, where northbound traffic separates from the interstate and follows OH-844 northeast toward Fairborn. Almost immediately, the surroundings shift away from the commercial development found around the interstate and toward the institutional and government properties surrounding Wright State and the Air Force base.
From I-675, OH-844 passes beneath North Fairfield Road before reaching the partial Colonel Glenn Highway interchange. The highway then runs along the eastern side of Wright State University, with the campus occupying much of the land immediately west of the route. Continuing north, OH-844 curves around the university area and reaches the interchange serving University Boulevard before turning toward Fairborn and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The roadway is a controlled-access highway throughout the drive, giving this very short route the character of a freeway connector rather than a typical surface-level Ohio state route.
The northern portion of the drive approaches Ohio Route 444, one of the principal roads serving Fairborn and the areas surrounding Wright-Patterson. OH-844 crosses over OH-444 before connecting with the state route, while the highway itself continues a short distance beyond the interchange toward the Air Force base. This video ends at OH-444 in Fairborn, completing a compact drive through an area closely associated with aviation, higher education, and the eastern Dayton transportation network.
Ohio Route 844 is officially known as the McClernon Memorial Skyway, honoring Brigadier General Glen J. McClernon, a former commander at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base who also served as mayor of Fairborn. The highway was originally designated OH-444A before receiving the OH-844 designation during the 1990s. Despite its roughly 2.4-mile total length, the route provides a useful direct connection among I-675, Wright State University, Fairborn, and one of the Dayton region's largest and most significant employment centers.

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 9 miles east along Texas Highway 183 from Fort Worth to Euless (DFW Airport), passing through Hurst, Bedford, and one of the busiest travel corridors in the Metroplex.
This drive begins at the interchange with Interstate 820 on the northeast side of Fort Worth, where Texas Highway 183 serves as an important connector for both local traffic and regional travelers. Heading east, the highway quickly moves into the Mid-Cities area, where the communities of Hurst and Bedford line the corridor with a mix of suburban neighborhoods, business centers, and retail hubs. Along this stretch, travelers cross the major interchange with State Highway 121, a key link toward Grapevine, Lewisville, and the northern suburbs.
Continuing into Euless, the roadway enters a heavily traveled area that provides direct access to Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport. Here, the highway intersects Texas 360, another major north–south route through the Metroplex. The drive concludes at the ramp to Spur 97, the dedicated connector into DFW Airport itself. While not the longest highway stretch, TX-183 is an essential artery for the region, balancing local commutes with international travel access.

The drive along U.S. Highway 412 from Paragould to Walnut Ridge covers 26 miles of northeast Arkansas, offering a mix of ridge-top views, wide farmland, and small-town charm. The journey begins at the intersection of U.S. Highway 49 in Paragould, where the route follows U.S. 412 Business before climbing the eastern slopes of Crowley’s Ridge. This unique geological formation, a long and forested rise running through the otherwise flat Delta, provides one of the more scenic stretches of highway in the region. From there, U.S. 412 rejoins its mainline and begins a gentle descent into the fertile agricultural plains of the Mississippi Alluvial Valley.
Heading west, the highway straightens out across wide fields that are a hallmark of eastern Arkansas. Midway along the route lies the small community of Light, a classic rural crossroad town that reflects the area’s deep farming heritage. Drive Americas Highways for nearly 29 miles along Interstate 69 from Princeton to Nortonville in western Kentucky. This segment, once part of the Western Kentucky Parkway, has been redesignated and upgraded to meet interstate standards as part of Kentucky’s ongoing efforts to complete the I-69 corridor. The video begins near Princeton at the KY-293 interchange and follows a northeast path through gently rolling hills and sparsely developed countryside.
The drive is mostly rural, with long stretches of tree-lined highway and few interchanges. Drivers will pass access points for KY-109 and KY-70, offering connections to small towns and regional routes. This part of I-69 is a limited-access freeway with minimal urban interference, making it a smooth and efficient drive for through traffic as well as for those connecting to nearby rural areas.
