🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 6 miles south along Arkansas Highway 367 from Beebe to Ward, Arkansas — following a classic frontage route that parallels the rhythm of Interstate 57.
Arkansas Highway 367 serves as a short but meaningful connector through the heart of White County, linking the communities of Beebe and Ward while closely shadowing the corridor of Interstate 57. The video begins at the junction with Arkansas Highway 31 in Beebe, a city with deep railroad roots and a long-standing role as a regional hub. From here, the route heads south, quickly settling into a steady, lightly traveled alignment that reflects its purpose as a former primary route before the interstate took over long-distance traffic.
As the drive progresses, AR-367 runs parallel to the interstate, offering a quieter alternative to the faster-moving lanes just to the west. This stretch carries a distinctly local character, with glimpses of residential areas, small businesses, and stretches of open land that hint at the agricultural backbone of the region. The road itself is straightforward, with gentle curves and a consistent pace that makes it ideal for a relaxed, uninterrupted drive.
Approaching Ward, the surroundings begin to shift slightly, with more signs of suburban growth blending into the rural landscape. Ward has expanded in recent years as a bedroom community for the Little Rock metro area, and that growth is reflected in the development along the corridor. The route concludes at the junction with Arkansas Highway 319, marking a clean transition point for travelers continuing deeper into White County or heading back toward the interstate network.
While short in length, this segment of Arkansas Highway 367 captures the essence of many former mainline routes across the state—roads that once carried the bulk of regional traffic but now serve as quieter, more personal connections between communities. It’s a stretch where the roadside towns still offer plenty to explore.

![U.S. Route 412: Paragould to Walnut Ridge – Arkansas | Real Roads, Real Drives [Repost]
🚙 Drive Americas Highways for 26 miles west along U.S. Highway 412 from Paragould to Walnut Ridge, Arkansas
The drive along U.S. Highway 412 from Paragould to Walnut Ridge covers 26 miles of northeast Arkansas, offering a mix of ridge-top views, wide farmland, and small-town charm. The journey begins at the intersection of U.S. Highway 49 in Paragould, where the route follows U.S. 412 Business before climbing the eastern slopes of Crowley’s Ridge. This unique geological formation, a long and forested rise running through the otherwise flat Delta, provides one of the more scenic stretches of highway in the region. From there, U.S. 412 rejoins its mainline and begins a gentle descent into the fertile agricultural plains of the Mississippi Alluvial Valley.
Heading west, the highway straightens out across wide fields that are a hallmark of eastern Arkansas. Midway along the route lies the small community of Light, a classic rural crossroad town that reflects the area’s deep farming heritage. Beyond Light, the road runs for another 11 miles toward Walnut Ridge, crossing U.S. Highway 67 — a major corridor currently being upgraded into Interstate 57. Entering Walnut Ridge from the east, the highway transitions into a more urban setting, lined with local businesses and small-town landmarks. The drive concludes at the intersection with Arkansas Highway 34 on the eastern edge of downtown, just blocks from the historic heart of the community.
This segment of U.S. 412 highlights the contrasting landscapes of northeast Arkansas — from the wooded ridge lines of Crowley’s Ridge to the open farmlands that stretch westward toward the Ozarks. It also serves as an important connector, linking Paragould, Walnut Ridge, and beyond with larger trade and travel networks across the state.

![U.S. Route 64: Pulaski to Fayetteville - Tennessee | Real Roads, Real Drives [Repost]
🚙 Drive Americas Highways for 20 miles east along U.S. Highway 64 from Pulaski to Fayetteville, Tennessee
Travel east across southern Middle Tennessee on U.S. Route 64 from Pulaski to Fayetteville. This stretch of highway serves as an important connector between Interstate 65 and the communities of Giles and Lincoln Counties, carrying travelers through a mix of farmland, wooded hills, and small rural towns along the way.
The drive begins just east of Interstate 65 near the community of Frankewing. Heading east, U.S. 64 quickly leaves the interstate corridor behind and settles into the rolling landscape that defines this part of Tennessee. The highway soon reaches Boonshill, where it intersects Tennessee Route 244 before continuing its journey toward Lincoln County. The road offers a steady rhythm of open pastures, gentle curves, and occasional roadside clusters of homes and businesses, all characteristic of the region’s balance between rural life and modern connectivity.
Approaching Fayetteville from the west, the route bends southeast near the intersection with Tennessee Route 274, guiding traffic into the outskirts of town. Instead of entering the heart of downtown, U.S. 64 follows a southern bypass that provides a more efficient path for through travelers. This modern alignment skirts around Fayetteville’s historic core while still offering glimpses of the community’s blend of industry, neighborhoods, and green space. The segment concludes at the junction with U.S. Highway 431, where the route turns south toward Huntsville, Alabama, and beyond.
For drivers, this portion of U.S. 64 highlights the practical function of a major east-west corridor while still reflecting the slower pace and scenery of southern Tennessee. Whether as part of a cross-state journey or a local trip between Pulaski and Fayetteville, it offers a drive that balances utility with the charm of the Tennessee countryside.

![[Repost] Interstate 69: Princeton to Nortonville - Kentucky | Drive Americas Highways 🚙
Drive Americas Highways for nearly 29 miles along Interstate 69 from Princeton to Nortonville in western Kentucky. This segment, once part of the Western Kentucky Parkway, has been redesignated and upgraded to meet interstate standards as part of Kentucky’s ongoing efforts to complete the I-69 corridor. The video begins near Princeton at the KY-293 interchange and follows a northeast path through gently rolling hills and sparsely developed countryside.
The drive is mostly rural, with long stretches of tree-lined highway and few interchanges. Drivers will pass access points for KY-109 and KY-70, offering connections to small towns and regional routes. This part of I-69 is a limited-access freeway with minimal urban interference, making it a smooth and efficient drive for through traffic as well as for those connecting to nearby rural areas.
As the video continues, the route approaches Nortonville, where it ends at the interchange with Interstate 169. This is a significant junction, as I-169 (formerly the Pennyrile Parkway) provides access south back toward Hopkinsville and I-24. The I-69 corridor continues north from this point while travelers continuing east towards Elizabethtown can take the Western Kentucky Parkway
This stretch of I-69 offers a look at how Kentucky has leveraged its existing toll-free parkway system to accommodate a major national interstate, balancing modern infrastructure goals with existing roadways that still serve local and regional travel needs.

![Interstate 57: Sikeston, Missouri to Cairo, Illinois | Real Roads, Real Drives [Revisited]
🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 22 miles northbound along Interstate 57 from I-55 in Sikeston to the Illinois state line, a smooth delta-country run framed by farmland, open skies, and the quiet approach toward the Mississippi and Ohio River region.
Interstate 57 begins its journey at the interchange with I-55 on the eastern edge of Sikeston, carving a direct path toward Illinois through the flat, agricultural landscape of Missouri’s Bootheel. This revisited segment captures the highway as it moves past the familiar junctions and rural access points that have long connected the region’s small communities with the larger corridors of the Midwest. The road is characteristically straight and steady here, offering a calm, uninterrupted drive as it parallels the long-established U.S. 60/62 corridors that historically served the area. Modern interchanges and wide shoulders keep the route efficient, while the surrounding scenery — fields, tree lines, and distant grain facilities — reflects the working rhythm of southeast Missouri.
As the highway nears the end of its Missouri run, the corridor gradually transitions toward the riverlands that define this corner of the state. Traffic thins, the horizon opens, and I-57 pushes north toward the state line at the Mississippi River bridge. This crossing marks both a geographic and visual shift, carrying travelers from the Bootheel into the southern tip of Illinois near Cairo — a gateway to the confluence of two of America’s great rivers and a key junction for north–south travel across the Midwest. Whether viewed for its transportation significance or its quietly scenic character, this stretch of I-57 offers a clean, uninterrupted look at one of the region’s most important interstate links.

![U.S. Route 64: Russellville to Clarksville - Arkansas | Real Roads, Real Drives [Repost]
🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 28 miles west along U.S. Highway 64 from Russellville to Clarksville, Arkansas — a scenic mix of river crossings, towns, and Ozark foothills.
U.S. Highway 64 between Russellville and Clarksville offers a varied look at life in the Arkansas River Valley. The drive begins in Russellville at the junction with Scenic Highway 7, one of the state’s most well-known north–south routes. Traveling through the city’s neighborhoods and commercial corridors, the highway gradually transitions from urban bustle to open views as it makes its way toward the Arkansas River. A highlight of the journey is the crossing over Lake Dardanelle and the Illinois Bayou, where the wide water and wooded shoreline create a backdrop unique to this stretch of road.
Continuing west, the highway enters the small town of London, where Arkansas Highway 333 provides access to Arkansas Nuclear One. The plant’s cooling towers rise above the valley, making it one of the most distinctive landmarks on the drive. From there, U.S. 64 continues through farmland and low hills, passing through the communities of Scotia and Knoxville. At Knoxville, travelers encounter an interchange with Interstate 40 before the highway angles northward into Lamar. This section is marked by connections with local routes like Highway 123, offering access deeper into the Ozark foothills.
The final leg of the journey brings the road into Clarksville, where U.S. 64 serves as a main thoroughfare through the heart of town. Passing near Arkansas Highway 21 and through the city’s downtown, the highway intersects with AR-123 and AR-103 before reaching the west side of Clarksville. The segment concludes at the junction with Arkansas Highway 352, leaving travelers positioned for further exploration westward into the Ozarks. This route combines residential, industrial, and scenic elements, showcasing how U.S. 64 ties together communities along the Arkansas River Valley.

![Alabama Route 20: Stewartsville to Florenece | Real Roads, Real Drives [Repost]
🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 14 miles east along Alabama State Route 20 from Stewartsville to Florence, Alabama — through forested stretches and the edge of the Tennessee Valley.
Alabama State Route 20 offers a short but scenic link between the Natchez Trace Parkway and the city of Florence. Beginning just outside Stewartsville at the interchange with the Parkway, the highway heads southeast through a landscape defined by rolling farmland and scattered wooded areas. This stretch provides a quiet contrast to the busier federal highways nearby, giving drivers a chance to experience a more relaxed drive in northwestern Alabama.
As the highway approaches Florence, the surroundings gradually shift from rural countryside to the edge of urban development. Along the way, the route intersects with AL-133, a major local connector. Beyond this junction, traffic increases and the scenery becomes more suburban, signaling the approach into Florence. Within the city limits, Alabama 20 bends eastward before reaching its terminus at the conjoined U.S. Routes 72 and 43, an important regional crossroads that connects Florence to other parts of Alabama and neighboring states.
This short segment may not cover many miles, but it highlights the transitional landscapes of the Tennessee Valley, from quiet rural stretches to the vibrant gateway city of Florence.
