Alabama State Route 20 offers a short but scenic link between the Natchez Trace Parkway and the city of Florence. Beginning just outside Stewartsville at the interchange with the Parkway, the highway heads southeast through a landscape defined by rolling farmland and scattered wooded areas. 🚙 Drive Americas Highways for 23 miles east along U.S. Highway 70 from North Little Rock to Lonoke, Arkansas.
The drive along U.S. Highway 70 from North Little Rock to Lonoke begins at the intersection with Arkansas Highway 365, just west of the historic Argenta district in North Little Rock. Traveling east through downtown, the route passes City Hall and a number of century-old commercial buildings that reflect the city’s riverfront heritage. Crossing under Interstate 30, the highway continues as Broadway Avenue before turning northeast at U.S. Highway 165. From here, U.S. 70 threads its way through the Rose City neighborhood, soon reaching the interchange with Interstate 440 on the eastern edge of the metro. Just beyond, the road enters the small community of Galloway and intersects Arkansas Highway 391.
Leaving the urban setting behind, U.S. 70 enters the open farmland of Pulaski County before crossing into Lonoke County near Keo. This stretch closely parallels the alignment of the original 1913 highway, remnants of which are still drivable for those seeking a bit of early motoring history. Continuing east, the highway intersects Arkansas Highways 161 and 15 before reaching the junction with Arkansas Highway 31 south of Lonoke. The route then turns north into town, meeting Arkansas Highway 89 before curving east once more to enter downtown Lonoke. The drive concludes at the intersection of U.S. 70 and Arkansas Highway 31 north, where the roadway continues its journey toward eastern Arkansas.

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 11 miles east along U.S. Route 35 from Dayton to Beavercreek, Ohio — through the changing urban and suburban landscapes of the Miami Valley.
Travel east along U.S. Route 35 from Interstate 75 in Dayton to Orchard Lane in Beavercreek on this approximately 11-mile real-time driving video. The route begins at one of the principal highway junctions serving central Dayton, where U.S. 35 crosses I-75 just southwest of downtown. From the interchange, the highway heads east through the city, providing a direct connection between Dayton’s central neighborhoods and communities across eastern Montgomery County and Greene County.
The opening portion of the drive presents a distinctly urban setting, with closely spaced exits, industrial properties, residential neighborhoods, and views of the Dayton skyline and surrounding city streets. U.S. 35 continues past connections serving downtown Dayton before moving toward the eastern side of the city. Interchanges with major north-south streets provide access to established neighborhoods, local businesses, and other important corridors across the metropolitan area. As the highway approaches Steve Whalen Boulevard and Smithville Road, the scenery gradually becomes less concentrated, although the route remains one of the region’s busiest east-west transportation links.
Continuing east, U.S. 35 enters Riverside and passes the Woodman Drive interchange, a major connection for nearby residential districts, commercial areas, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and destinations throughout eastern Montgomery County. The roadway then approaches Interstate 675, where travelers can connect north toward Fairborn and Interstate 70 or south toward Centerville and Interstate 75. Beyond I-675, the surroundings become increasingly suburban as the highway enters Beavercreek and passes the North Fairfield Road interchange.
The final portion of the video follows U.S. 35 east through the commercial and developing areas of Beavercreek. North Fairfield Road provides access to many of the community’s shopping, dining, and residential districts, while the highway continues toward the more open landscape east of the city. The drive concludes at Orchard Lane, where U.S. 35 transitions from the fully controlled-access highway seen through Dayton and western Beavercreek toward the signalized corridor continuing into Greene County. Orchard Lane has been part of ongoing transportation planning along this section of U.S. 35, including improvements intended to manage turning traffic and maintain movement through the growing Beavercreek area.

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 27 miles west along Interstate 155 from Dyersburg, Tennessee to Hayti, Missouri — crossing the Mississippi River into the Missouri Bootheel.
Interstate 155 provides one of the few direct crossings of the Mississippi River between Memphis and Cairo, linking western Tennessee with the Missouri Bootheel and southeastern Missouri’s regional road network. The route begins at its eastern terminus in Dyersburg, Tennessee, where it meets U.S. Highway 51, a major north–south corridor in the region. Leaving Dyersburg, the highway quickly transitions from an urban connector to a rural interstate, crossing farmland and flat delta terrain before reaching the interchange with Tennessee State Route 181.
At this point, Interstate 155 bends northwest to cross the Mississippi River via the Caruthersville Bridge, a steel through-truss structure completed in 1976. This bridge provides a vital link not only for local traffic but also for commercial and agricultural transport moving across the heart of the Mid-South. On the Missouri side, the route immediately serves Caruthersville with an interchange at Missouri Route 84, allowing travelers to access the town directly.
From Caruthersville, Interstate 155 continues northwest for its final stretch, cutting across the open farmland of the Bootheel before reaching its western terminus at the junction with Interstate 55 near Hayti. Here, the route transitions into U.S. Highway 412, providing onward connections westward through Missouri and Arkansas. Despite its short length, I-155 plays an important role as a cross-river connector and as the only interstate link directly serving Caruthersville.

The drive along Arkansas Highway 25 between Quitman and Greenbrier offers a snapshot of small-town Arkansas, where the terrain transitions from rolling countryside into the beginnings of the Arkansas River Valley. Beginning in Quitman at the junction with AR-356, the road sets out southwestward as Heber Springs Road, a well-traveled corridor that serves as a connector for local residents. Along the way, the highway meets AR-124 and shifts south, threading its way through farmland, scattered woods, and the kind of open landscapes that define this part of the state. Drivers will also pass the junction with AR-107, a rural route that heads southeast toward more remote parts of Faulkner and White counties.
Continuing south, AR-25 bends westward near the community of Enders before rolling into the small town of Guy. Here, the route briefly takes on the role of a main street, intersecting Pinnacle Springs Road, before veering southwest again toward its final destination. Leaving Guy, the highway stretches another four miles through quiet countryside before reaching Greenbrier. The route concludes at U.S. Highway 65, where traffic shifts toward Conway and Little Rock to the south or Clinton and the Ozark Mountains to the north.
