"From Me to U" is the first album by American rapper Juelz Santana. It came out on August 19, 2003, as scheduled, under Diplomat, Roc-A-Fella, and Def Jam. The album was a thoughtful way for the rapper to introduce himself to mainstream audiences. After featuring on different street mixtapes and seeing success with The Diplomats, Santana became the second member of the group to put out a solo album, following Cam'ron, the group's main leader.

Juelz Santana, born LaRon Louis James on February 18, 1982, is an American rapper and part of the East Coast hip hop group called the Diplomats, also known as Dipset. He's famous for his roles in Cam'ron's hit singles "Oh Boy" and "Hey Ma" in 2002, which reached high spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He gained more recognition with his feature on Chris Brown's "Run It!" in 2005, which topped the chart for five weeks and earned triple platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Juelz Santana's solo track "There It Go (The Whistle Song)" from 2005 also did well, reaching number six on the chart and earning platinum certification from the RIAA.
