"Barrio Fino: En Directo" is the second live album by Daddy Yankee, a Puerto Rican artist. It's a live continuation of his album "Barrio Fino." This album is significant because it's the first release under the partnership between El Cartel Records and Interscope Records. The album's tremendous success led to a contract for three more albums. "Barrio Fino: En Directo" includes five new and exclusive songs, featuring popular hits like "Rompe," "Machucando," and "Gangsta Zone." It also includes collaborations with North American rappers Snoop Dogg and Paul Wall, along with the live participation of the duo Zion & Lennox.

Illmatic is the first studio album by American rapper Nas. It came out on April 19, 1994, under Columbia Records. With the help of MC Serch, Nas got signed to the label. He worked on the album from 1992 to 1993 in different studios in New York City like Chung King Studios and D&D Recording. Nas, along with DJ Premier, Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip, and L.E.S., produced the album. Illmatic is known for its tough hip hop style and tells stories about Nass life in Queensbridge Houses, where he grew up in Queens, New York City.
