Hello fam! Hope you had a nice week. In today's recipe I am using my Instant Pot which is a pressure cooker/multi-use cooker. Beans actually don't sit well with me so I don't cook it often but thought I'd share the recipe with you. Enjoy and I'll catch you next time.


1.5 - 2 cups blackeyed peas or red beans
1 cup cracked hominy
1 large onion
1 large habanero (to taste)
1.5 tsp salt (to taste)
3.5 cups total liquid (6 or more if cooking on stovetop)
1/3 cup red palm oil (other oils ok)
