I finally got my hands on the Insta360 X5, and I’ve honestly missed having this camera in my kit. Since the last time I used it, several updates have made it even better — and one upgrade really stands out.
You can now film in full 4K in InstaFrame Mode 2.0 🔥
That’s a game changer.
In InstaFrame Mode 2.0 you get multiple shooting options:
Pitch Mode – keeps the horizon perfectly level no matter how you move (up, down, side to side). Perfect for stable vlogging.
Follow Mode (Tracking) – my personal favorite. The camera intelligently follows your movement with fantastic subject tracking.
FPV Mode – for a more dynamic, immersive look.

In this video, I took the Insta360 X5 out on my favorite trail for a run to properly test Follow Mode (the tracking is seriously impressive) and Pitch Mode, which is absolutely perfect for smooth, stabilized vlogging while moving.
