DJI and Insta360 have been in an intense battle to create the ultimate action camera ecosystem. For a long time, DJI's class-leading wireless audio with their Mic 2 system set the standard. But Insta360 has been paying attention, and they've stepped up their game.
In this video, I put both ecosystems to the ultimate test. I'm comparing the DJI Action 5 Pro, paired with the DJI Mic 2, against the Insta360 Ace Pro 2, using their new GPS Preview Remote with its built-in microphone. The results were closer than you might think!
You'll see a head-to-head comparison of sound quality, wireless range, and the overall user experience. While the audio quality was surprisingly even, there was a clear winner in the long-distance test.
