Have you noticed your YouTube views dropping lately? You're definitely not alone.
While I was out on one of my favorite hiking trails, I found myself thinking about YouTube, the changes we're all seeing, and why so many creators are asking the same question: What has happened?
Is it just my channel, or are creators everywhere experiencing fewer views? More importantly, what can we actually do about it?
In this video, I share my thoughts on the current state of YouTube, why I believe the platform is changing, and why I think we should stop guessing and start using the tools YouTube already gives us.
One tool that has really caught my attention is YouTube Analytics. YouTube collects an incredible amount of data about what viewers actually want to watch, and it even suggests video ideas based on your audience and your channel's niche. Instead of fighting the algorithm, maybe it's time to learn from it.
From now on, I'm going to experiment much more with YouTube Analytics and the content ideas YouTube recommends. Will it help? I honestly don't know—but I'm willing to find out, and I'll share the results with you.
Another challenge many of us face is time. Most creators don't have unlimited hours to make videos, and I'm no different. Balancing work, family, and YouTube means every video counts, so making smarter decisions is more important than ever.
I'd love to hear your thoughts:
Have your views dropped recently?
Do you use YouTube Analytics to plan your videos?
Have you noticed any changes on your channel?
