Insta360 has introduced Kira AI Assistant, and I honestly think this changes everything. Instead of testing it indoors in a quiet, controlled environment, I wanted to see how it performs where it actually matters—outside in the real world.
In this video, I take Kira AI on a real outdoor test, asking questions while hiking and exploring. I deliberately made things difficult with background noise, changing environments, and real-life situations to see how well the AI could keep up.
Was it perfect? No, and that's exactly what makes this test interesting. Kira doesn't get everything right, but what's exciting is that this is just the beginning. AI is constantly improving, and with future firmware updates, it's only going to get smarter, faster, and more reliable.
We'll test features like:
✅ Ask Anything
✅ Ask with Photo
✅ Real-Time Translation
✅ Voiceprint Recognition
✅ Real-world outdoor performance
For me, this is one of the most exciting updates I've seen on an action camera. Having an AI assistant built directly into the camera opens up a whole new way of filming, traveling, and exploring without constantly reaching for your phone.
